Reach out For a Child(ROFAC) which consist of group of young people, passionate about Ghana and believe in embarking on life changing ventures, came together with Paulina Queensland School to celebrate the just ended Universal Children’s Day with the students. The Event which has ‘Children Of Today, Our Keepers Tomorrow’ Saw the headmaster of the school, Mr Stephen Addai as the host.
The event started with a prayer by one of the teachers and followed a well rehearsed choreography by the kids. It was the followed by a counseling session by Stella Abuba who is the National Project Cordinator for ROFAC. She spoke about the importance of the girl child education using herself as an example and a point of inspiration and having grew up at in between Old Fadama and Agboblowhe Yam market.
The team then had an interaction with the students to know what is really is top most problems as kids growing up in such a community. The event ended with lunch with the students and a closing prayer.
ROFAC is a registered NGO in Ghana and Denmark. Unlike most charities, ROFAC is run by volunteers, so virtually every penny we receive goes straight to the schools, children and the communities we support.
