Today happens to be farmers day in Ghana and it is a day we celebrate all the gallant farmers in the country.
These farmers are given some gifts just to let them know that as a country, we appreciate their efforts.
During this year’s celebration, farmers within the Accra Metropolitan Assembly were also rewarded and the gifts given to these farmers have caused a stir on social media.
The overall best farmer was given a bicycle, sprayer, and assorted items and many believe he deserves better.

@Donradikal – The various Assemblies do organize these National programs with their own funds and by kind courtesy of some donors…We as individuals refuse to pay our market toll, Business Operation permits, building permits and other taxes to help increase the renue of the Assemblies..
