Nigerian singer Simisola Simi Ogunleye is a songwriter and actress who commenced her career as a gospel singer. She released her first album titled Ogaju in 2008. Simi came into the limelight in 2014 after releasing “Tiff”, a song that was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015.

According to Simi, she met her husband on a beautiful morning when she was in a worst mood because her father forced her to follow him to the ranch. According to Simi, she loved the ranch but she was just not in the mood that morning to visit the ranch that morning.
Simi said she was seated behind her father’s car while driving in silence. Something caught her attention when they were getting closer to the ranch. It was music. It was the voice of a bass singer. The sound of the man’s voice kept ringing in her ears and head while they got closer to the ranch.

While in haste to know who was behind the sweet voice, Simi rolled down the window of the tinted glass and saw him; her soul mate. According to Simi, her soulmate was in singlet and a pair of jeans with a cowboy hat. He was the most handsome man she has ever come across she stated. It was love at first sight, she said.
