Veteran Ghanaian Musician, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has expressed his worries about how the new crop of emerging artistes produces their content.

He called on the digital age artistes to sit up and do good work by writing good songs filled with quality substances to make an impact in society.

According to him, these current songs filled In the space are almost the same songs with words being repeated by different artiste which is not good.

He narrated that his lyrics on “Kwadonto” are words that inspire people.

Speaking in an interview on Kumasi based radio, Pure FM, a show dubbed Hammer Time he noted that a song must be inspired and also change people’s attitude.

Veteran musicians have been criticizing the new way of creating musical content on the side of the emerging crop of artistes saying that their songs lack the good substance.
