We have chanced on a report that indicated that four persons have been nabbed over child stealing and the sale of children.

These four persons include a retired midwife and the alleged incident reportedly happened at Atuabo and Half Assin in the Western Region.

They were arrested by the National Investigative Bureau (NIB) and an Accra Circuit Court remanded the four into the custody of the NIB.

The report, according to the Ghana News Agency, indicated these accused persons all pleaded not guilty when they appeared in court with the prosecutor, Chief Inspector Simon Apiosornu asking the court to remand the accused persons into custody in order to conclude further investigations.

In other news, the Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has been asked to arrest a presidential staffer after he was seen flaunting a gun publicly.
