The President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), Rev Professor Paul Yaw Frimpong-Manso has labeled the so-called men of God who dabble in politics and predict election results as fake prophets.

He made this known during the unveiling of Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman to the leadership of the Christian Council of Ghana on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, in Accra.
According to Rev Frimpong-Manso, “God has given the power to choose the leader through elections, through campaigns, and through the ballot box” and that “If it will be through prophecies, there will be no need for elections and campaigns.”

He further added, “So politicians, these people can exploit you. They can create confusion and they will make things wrong.” Rev. Frimpong-Manso also charged politicians and political parties to work hard in order to enable them win their elections.
