Legendary music producer, Hammer of the last two has tagged Rex Omar as incompetent as leader of Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO)
Appearing on Rainbow Entertainment on Rainbow Radio , he said that Rex Omar has not demonstrated leadership and experience in managing GHAMRO despite criticizing the previous administration.

Da Hammer posited that the current GHAMRO administration is failing musicians in Ghana.
”The current administration is incompetent. They can’t do the job. They are interested in the subsidy to sit as members of the board. Their distribution of money is poor, raising money is poor. It’s like the ECG, the illegal connections are more. What is happening right now is that they are not consistent. They must be consistent. They need to start the login system correctly. “
“I respect Rex Omar as a great musician, but he doesn’t have what it takes to handle GHAMRO,” he said.
He has also called for a revision of the GHAMRO constitution as it is causing the rot.
He added that hiring board members at GHAMRO has gotten cheap and therefore inexperienced people are the ones at it.
