In an interview with UniversEntertainment, Blakk Rasta stated that most Ghanaian musicians have been in the country and in the music scene for more than 10 years yet they are unable to provide any significant music or album they have worked on.

Rocky Dawuni, he claims, can provide indigenous Ghanaian music that he has worked on more than most Ghanaian-based musicians, despite the fact that he does not live in Ghana.

“Some of us are based here but do nothing, he is better than us, he is based out there yet we see him do so many things and he comes home every year, to put up at least one concept sponsored by UN, some of our musicians have stayed in Ghana for more than 10 years and have not even recorded one reggae so before me, he is far better than you,” he said.

Blakk Rasta further motivated Ghanaian reggae and dancehall musicians to digitalize the genre in order to suit the Ghanaian culture.

In other news, the Head Pastor for Cedar Mountain Chapel-Assemblies of God, Rev Stephen Wengam has opinionated that parents must halt pressuring their children who are of age to get married because marriage is not an achievement.

In an interview on Starr Chat with Nana Aba Anamoah, Rev. Stephen Wengam revealed that Jesus Christ and other great personalities in the Bible did not marry yet they never failed at their tasks, thus marriage should not be seen as an achievement.

I always advise young people not to rush into marriage and parents don’t put pressure on your kids to marry, marriage is not an achievement. Not everyone will marry anyway”, he said.
