YouTube yesterday announced that the official music video of the ‘Reason With Me’ song has been GOLD certified after it reached 100 million views on the music and video streaming site.

It was a double good news for Rudeboy as the streaming platform also announced that his official YouTube channel has also reached a million subscribers.

The ‘Reason With Me’ song was released back in 2019 and was well received by most music lovers across the continent with the corresponding music video going on to accomplish this feat

The song and the music video is by far the biggest hit from Rudeboy ever since he broke away from his twin brother Peter Okoye better known in Showbiz as Mr P couple years ago.

The brothers rose to fame in the earlier 2000s with a couple of hits which allowed them to play a couple of shows across the African continent.

The group through their works signed a record and a distribution deal with the renowned American company Universal Music Group in 2017 but was met with a controversy after rumors of the split hit the media circles.

It was alleged that Paul Okoye’s brother, Peter Okoye was the one who initiated the breakup process after he sent a termination letter to the group’s lawyer.
