Farida, the wife of the late veteran Nigerian musician Sound Sultan is currently in a very devastated state and she will need all the words of comfort and consolation following her husband’s death.
As reported earlier, Sound Sultan passed away after battling cancer of the throat and the news about his death was confirmed by a family member Dr Kayode Fasasi, through a statement and read;
“It is with heavy heart that we announce the death of multi -talented veteran singer, Rapper, Song Writer, Olarenwaju Fasasi AKA Sound Sultan.
“He passed away at the age of 44, following a hard fought battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma.
“He is survived by his wife, three children and his siblings.
“We, his family will appreciate utmost privacy as we come to grips with this tragic loss.”

Sound Sultan who was described by President Buhari as decent and kind man was buried today and a moment which will break your heart and make you shed tears during the burial was when the bereaved wife laid on the casket of Sound Sultan.
