Rapper Pope Sk inny has been talking ‘loosely’ lately, making us wonder if this has to with the rebranding process he passionately spoke about sometime ago.
The Tema-based rapper, who now goes by the name Asuoden God disclosed in an interview that his eight years on radio has not been financially rewarding.
He added that he would have been better off indulging in cyber fraud (sakawa) as opposed to his years of being on radio.
He told Kwame Bee on the Di Wu Lane Mu show, thus: “As a youth, you can’t be doing something for a very long time without seeing results.
“I’ve been on the radio for Eight years, I can’t boast of a house or a car I bought with what I earned from the radio. If it was Sakawa I was doing, I would have accomplished a lot after Eight years.”
