Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah’s return to action is not expected anytime soon after testing positive for coronavirus for the second time.
This comes four days after Egypt FA announced he has contracted the virus.
Salah took a second test, hoping to return negative as it had been the case for several people.
But the result was positive. This means Salah will be out of action longer than expected.
He will continue his isolation and must test negative before he can return to the field. It is also unclear when Salah will now be allowed back into the UK.
This news a big blow for Liverpool, whose squad has been depleted with injuries to key players.
