There is a saying that, ” there is more blessing in giving than in receiving “. The art of giving is a talent many people don’t possess. Helping people may not change the world but it can change the world of the people.
Actress and entrepreneur, Salma Mumim of the ” Salma Mumin Foundation ” is an example of greatness and heroine in the eyes of Ghana and most especially, the people and kids in Wa in the upper west region of northern Ghana.
As part of the foundation’s intiative, the team travelled all the way to Wa to make donations worth millions of cedis to two deprived schools in the region namely, Chegli Primary School and Kperisi LA Primary.
It’s estimated that over 600 pupils benefited from the donations made. The kids jumped with joy and laughter as they received their gifts. Thanks to Salma and her team, the sponsors and the MP for Wa west.
She donated books, water, foodstuff and toiletries to the pupils of both schools. The MP for Wa west, Honourable Doc. Rashid Pelpuo and his entourage accompained her and surprised her with books and other learning materials to be given to the pupils.
