Ghanaians have bashed Samini and Sarkodie for endorsing the NPP knowing very well how their actions will affect their career as musicians.

Some few days ago, the High-Grade Family leader released a song titled “Kpoyaka” to highlight the achievements of the NPP flagbearer.

Though he was chastised by some social media users for his decision, he seems unperturbed.

Well, in a tweet, Samini has finally explained his reason for his endorsement for the NPP Government and its leader, Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo to extend his mandate.

Samini revealed that he is from one of the deprived areas in the country and so his endorsement is to encourage the President and his government to better the lives of his people.

“My decision is beyond party colors” he said. Samini is saying that his reason for the endorsement is because he believes in the NPP.

This was after a fan on Twitter told him to stand for the truth if he decides to become a full-time politician.

“Thanks my brother I’ll make sure I put Ghana first. I come from one of the most deprived areas in this country and a chance to do something in politics to benefit my people and eventually better their lives will be an amazing opportunity. My decision is beyond party colors bro,” Samini replied.
