The second edition of the prestigious 3Music Awards will come off later this year and one of the most keenly contested category is the ‘Army of the Year Award’ which is strictly between Sakodie and Shatta Wale fans, judging from the voting pattern currently.

As at press time, fans of Sarkodie- popularly called Sark Nation are comfortably leading the poll in the build up to the final showdown.
The organisers have decided to give all the power to the public in these two categories; Viral Song of the Year and Fan Army Of the Year and each week, they share the results on social media for everyone to see how it’s going.
The latest result sees Sarkodie’s fans SarkNation is leading with 24% of total votes with Shatta Wale following closely with 22%.
BhimNation is third with 21% whilst Medikal’s AMG fans in with 9% of votes.
Close to 4000 votes have been collated for the Viral song category and Fan Army Of the year category according to Mobile Content LTD as at February 15, 2019.

Voting is still ongoing and we can’t tell how the two horse race between Shatta Wale and Sarkodie will turn out.
