Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie consolidated his status as the most successful Ghanaian rapper of all time by winning the ‘Best African Artiste‘ at the 2017 daf BAMA Music Awards held in Germany on November 17.
The daf BAMA awards is an international multicultural music award show created to honour artists from across the world. It is aimed at promoting creativity, unity and enjoyment amongst global music lovers.

He beat fellow Ghanaian, Stonebwoy and four Nigerian artistes; Wizkid, P-Square, Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage to win the award.
