Award-winning rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known in showbiz scenes as Sarkodie has been ranked as the Number 1 streaming artiste on Boomplay.

This info was revealed by one of his die-hard fans on the microblogging platform, Twitter with the account ID @NebaSark. Well, this hasn’t been confirmed on the music platform yet.
According to his tweet, Sarkodie has been able to amass about 500,000 streams on the music platform, Boomplay in just eight days.
He wrote; Currently @sarkodie is the number 1 streamed act on @BoomplayMusicGH and has been able to amass 500k streams on Boomplay in just 8 days

Sarkodie has been one of the best entertainers as far as music is concerned. Being in the rap game for over two decades, “Obidi” as he is popularly known has managed to win the hearts of Ghanaians and maintained his relevancy for so many years.
He has been crowned as the ‘King of rap music in Ghana’ at least that is what his fans say. Most underground rappers from the likes of Amerado Burner and others have confessed that Sarkodie is one of the seniors in the game they look up to and aspire to be like in the near future because he is their biggest inspiration.
Sarkodie is also among the few musicians in Ghana promoting the African culture to the world. He is a two-time awardee at BET and has also won so many international awards making him one of the best in Africa.
