A new video has surfaced online which sees iconic rapper Sarkodie hanging out with a cheerful Nana Kwame Ampadu, the man many consider to be the greatest Ghanaian High-life musician of all time.
It’s always heartwarming to see young rappers humbly associating themselves with these veterans and trying to tap from their reservoir of knowledge.
On a lighter note, we wondered if Sarkodie has ditched Obrafuor for Nana kwame Ampadu because his advice are no longer useful.
Remember Sarkodie has always cited the rap Sofuor as his music influence and his source of guidance. They have collaborated on numerous songs, primarily the one Sarkodie went to Obrafuor for advice on how to survive in the music industry.
Anyway, we said ‘on the lighter note’ so we don’t want you to read too much meanings into this; who says Sarkodie can’t tap from different sources to aid his career? LOL!!!!
Anyway, we can see from the video that the pair are gearing up for a nice collabo and a corresponding music video to match.
They actually had a song togther but Nana Ampadu’s ill-health couldn’t help advance the song at that time.
An excited Sarkodie blurted out;
Alright guys you see me looking at this today is definitely for a reason, history will be made today as the Legend, the killer of highlife Nana Kwame Ampadu will be coming over, and I am so excited.
