Shatta Wale is well known for recording diss songs with any artist he has issues with. He has beefed almost everyone in the music industry. Stonebwoy, Yaa Pono, Sarkodie,

Reggie Rockstone among others. He has even beefed with some of his SM Militants after he parted ways with them.

It is at the back of this that Sarkodie has finally revealed why he decided to respond to Shatta Wale’s attacks through his “Advice” song.

According to the rapper, he mostly responds to some artists simply because they are worth his responses and not anyone who wants to ride on his name for fame.

During an interview on Pure FM on the Hammer Time show, Sarkodie revealed that his response to Shatta Wale was not because of his attacks against him but wanted to draw his mind that musicians have a bigger task to play in the country, thus controversies ain’t needed.

However, he believes that Shatta Wale is one personality who would prefer to address issues with controversies rather than walk away and respond calmly and that is how he has accepted him to be.

He said that himself, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, and other artists have a role to play by setting a standard for the upcoming ones to follow suit.
