For over a decade in the rap game, with his great songs and recognition both locally and internationally, born Michael Owusu Addo, well known as Sarkodie is still the best rapper in Ghana, at least according to his fanbase.

Talking of consistency, Sarkodie has been able to maintain his relevancy for years and still regarded as one of the most decorated rappers in Africa according to critical thinkers on social media.
Even till date, Sarkodie continues to brag about the fact that he is still wearing the crown as the King in the Ghana rap game despite the emergence of young and talented rappers.
After carefully analyzing his style of rap and lifestyle, Artiste Manager, Mcee Lento has stated that there is nothing unique about the rapper.
Mcee lento said that the only thing extraordinary about Sarkodie is that there is clarity in his songs, meaning one can hear and understand all he says but apart from this, he sees no uniqueness.
He made this statement in a Facebook post by saying; There is nothing unique about @sakodie’s rap. What he has been doing isn’t extraordinary. The only enviable thing about him is clarity; something many good rappers don’t have.This is a guy who used half his diss song to M.anifest to engage in populism just to win sympathy from one side of Ghanaians.He is smart but not a genius as he has been labeled.#SubZero or no #SubZero
As a reminder, Sarkodie has grabbed a nomination in the Best rap performance category in the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. He is also in the Artiste of the Year category and also the Vodafone Most Popular Song of the year. He has also been nominated as the Best Hiplife/HipHop Artiste of the year.
His song, “CEO Flow” ft. E-40 has also been nominated in the Best International Colloaboration category as well as the Collaboration of the year with “Happy Day” featuring Kuami Eugene.
