Ghana’s best rapper, Sarkodie illustrated his musical artistry recently when he released a freestyle dubbed, Icon.

People’s attention were however drawn to a verse on the song which was interpreted as a diss aimed at fellow rapper, E.L.

The verse goes:

Mo fake suban nti, I no dey like calls picking, to wit, because of your fake character, I don’t like answering your calls.

The story was soon propagated by several Ghanaian blogs, including Zylofon FM owned by business mogul, Nana Appiah Mensah affectionately called NAM.

Sarkodie apparently sighted the news making rounds on social media and vented his spleen on social media, questioning the credibility of the media outfit (Zylofon FM).

He wrote:

If this is an original handle of the Nobel man Nam 1’s station then y’all don’t take yourselves below the belt for traffic and numbers y’all will gain it organically … This ain’t needed … Always ❤️ Nord
