Ghanaian musician, Michael Owusu Addo who is known as Sarkodie has revealed he will be dropping a new album.

The award-winning rapper made this announcement on his verified social media handle on all the major social media platforms.

According to him, the album is dubbed, ‘NO PRESSURE’ and it will be released on July 9. He revealed that the album has two producers – himself and KJ Spio.

He also used the opportunity to appreciate his fans and followers for the patience. Sharing a video, he wrote;

Yesterday, he has a social media interactions with his fans and followers where he stated that he is wasn’t inspired to drop any song or album.

This comes after his SARKNATION petitioned him to drop a new song because it has been a while he gave them something new.

According to him, he is not ready to release a new song adding that he has released many songs so his fans can other music lovers can keep streaming them.

One of his fans asked him;

“When are we getting a new song?
We wont take “soon” “In the pipeline” as answers. We want specific dates We are waiting”

To the surprise of his fans, Sarkodie said;

“Got loads of music out there keep streaming… I’m not inspired yet” He stated

With his latest announcement, it meant he wanted to test the waters before dropping any project and since he has seen what he wanted, it is now time for the album.
