Sarkodie reportedly shared money to a bunch of street hawkers who easily recognized him while he was driving in his convertible or cabriolet vehicle in town.
The hawkers mobbed and heaped accolades on him when he got stuck in traffic hence he decided to give them ‘something.’
This development will come as a huge surprise to some people who often brand the iconic rapper as a thrifty pers on who hardly gives out cash to his fans.
If you watch the video closely, you could see Sarkodie was immersed in his usual element, he was not vibing at all or even waved to the small crowd that swarmed around the car. His pal who was driving with him ostensibly doled out the money to the people after which they covered the car and zoomed off.

Still on Sarkodie, British High Commissioner to Ghana, Harriet Thompson recently said Ghana and Africa’s best rapper Sarkodie is her favourite artiste in Ghana.
The affable British diplomat said her entire household including her children and husband also enjoy and dance to Sarkodie’s songs. She made this known during an interaction she had with former BBC on-air personality and now Joy FM presenter Israel Laryea on the Accra-based radio station.
“My favourite in Ghanaian artiste is Sarkodie, I love his songs and how he is. I love Ghana Music, I’m enjoying life in Ghana. My kids and husband dance around when it’s time for us to eat,” she said boldly when asked if she listens to Ghanaian music and who is her favourite.
