One half of Music group, Keche, Keche Joshua has disclosed that Sarkodie’s Alpha EP, which is all Hiphop project is a flop as compared to Sarkodie’s Black Love Album, which is an Afrobeat project.

According to Keche Joshua, eventhough Sarkodie claims he’s a hiphop artiste, his Alpha EP which was all Hiphop songs was a flop. From the streams, to rotation on radio, you can tell that project was a flop.

Keche Joshua in an interview with Abeiku Santana said,

“The songs that gave Sarkodie his power and influence are not his Rap songs; from You go Kill Me to Adonai ft. Castro. Sarkodie’s Alpha EP was and is still a flop. Just check the streams, that project didn’t receive any serious rotation”.


He continued,

“It’s his Black Love album; his song with Rudeboy, Saara and those Afrobeats songs that help revive and get his name back in the news. All i’m saying is Rap songs don’t sell anymore here in Ghana’.
