Popular high-life artist Bisa Kdei has thrown his weight behind rapper Sarkodie over his controversial cigar-smoking images shared a few days ago.
Bisa Kdei has taken a swipe at critics especially the Civil Society Organization who called on the rapper to come out and render an apology. Other critics also slammed him for sharing such a photo.. Many were of the opinion that it didn’t depict his character and brand.

Contrary to the opinion and condemnation of the CSOs, Bisa Kdei has said that Sarkodie’s cigar-smoking images shared on his birthday were just a form of artistry and nothing else. He asserted that those photos were merely to depict arts and nothing else.
Well, it depends on the artist, and personally, I don’t see any problem with pictures of an artiste smoking cigar. There are some things that are pure artistry you can’t take away from an artist so I don’t think it’s something we need to condemn.

“When you go abroad, artists do more than this and it’s normal. At the end of the day if you do good, you do for yourself,” he stated on the Kastle Entertainment Show in Cape Coast.
