Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings in her tribute to the late President celebrated the impeccable role he played to fight for women’s rights in Ghana.
As she was very emotional, one of her daughters, Amina read the message on her behalf, a part of which says, “With your help and support we were able to fight for the rights of women a reality”.
Meanwhile, the mortal remains of the late Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings (Rtd.) has been laid to rest today, January 27, 2021, after a State funeral at the Independence Square, Accra.
