The King of Thailand, Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun reportedly went on isolation in Germany due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
King Maha booked out all rooms of a luxurious hotel in Germany, where he quarantined with a harem of 20 women.
The four-star German hotel identified as Grand Hotel Sonnenbichi in Bavaria was supposed to be closed down just like others due to lockdown order in the region but the executives of the hotel received ‘special permission’ from the district council to accommodate the king and his huge entourage.
It is reported that thousands of people in his kingdom were outraged by the news of him self-isolation with his concubines in Germany who risked breaking the country’s lèse-majesté laws by slamming him online.
King Rama X was crowned prince 1972, at an early age of 20 by his father, King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit.
