Communications Director of Zylofon Music, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has hinted that the giant media conglomerate is not interested in reconciling Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy despite the fact they are signed to the same record label.

The two front-runners of Dancehall music in Ghana have been at each other’s throat for sometime now and when both got singed to Zylofon Media, many people thought the acrimony could be squashed right away.

On the contrary, the rivalry has been intensified in recent times to the extent that it took the time intervention of Nana Appiah Mensah to calm tempers in one of their recent tantrums.

Arnold said;

“Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy don’t have to be friends and we don’t care whether they are friends or not. Besides, it is not enshrined in the contracts they signed that label mates have to be friends.

“However, we expect them to have respect for themselves and adhere to the terms and conditions of their contracts.”

“So far as they are doing what is expected of them, their personal relationship isn’t our business,” he told Showbiz at the new Zylofon Music offices at East Legon on Tuesday.”
