Renowned global musical streaming platform Spotify after making giants step in Africa by adding some African countries to their service has made Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale the first artiste to be on the cover of the ‘Friday Music’ playlist.

Spotify announced their presence in Africa couple of days ago and in a matter of days, their services are available in about 39 African countries including Ghana, Nigeria, Gabon, Gambia, Cameroon, Angola, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Benin, Cape Varde etc.

The group also launched its first ‘Friday Music’ playlist yesterday and picked Shatta Wale to be the first artiste to be on the cover.
