Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has got two nominations for himself in the next edition of the prestigious International World Reggae & Music Awards (IRAWMA).
The Zylofon signed music act got nominated in the ‘Afrobeat Artiste of the Year and Video of the Year’ with his ‘Gringo’ video.
This year’s IRAWMA is scheduled to come off in Kingston-Jamaica, on May 11, 2019. The event has been dubbed ‘Bob Marley Transition Day and 50 years of Reggae’.
For the records, Shatta Wale is the most decorated Dancehall artiste on the African continent and whether he bags these two awards or not, his credentials in the annals of Ghana music cannot be underemphasized.
