It takes a certain degree of courage for a rival musician to acknowledge the other especially on the back of one of the bitterest feuds ever recorded in the annals of Ghana music.
Stonebwoy has recently disclosed in an interview that Shatta Wale is putting much hard work into his craft which has translated into his sustained success over the years.
Stonebwoy was hosted for an interview with Sharon Carpenters & Etana music where he was asked about a wide range of issues, including his infamous protracted beef with Shatta Wale which reached a boiling point in 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
In response to some of the questions, Stonebwoy said; “My rivalry with Shatta wale (Shatta Movement) is the biggest rivalry after Vybes Kartel and Movado in Jamaica.”
He further added; Big ups to Shatta Wale himself. He is doing so well for himself and we are all putting Ghana on the map. I’m proud of him and I also know he is super proud of me.”
