BET Networks, organisers of the coveted BET Award, have released the full list of nominees for the 2019 edition of the awards.
Interestingly, no Ghanaian artiste received a nomination in the categories they were eligible for just like it happened in 2018.
Shatta Wale who claimed to have received an e-mail from BET in December 2018 had been expected to get his first ever nomination.
The BET Awards were established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to celebrate African Americans and other American minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment over the past year. The awards are presented annually, and are broadcast live on BET.
This year’s edition nominees have been announced and we have no single Ghanaian act making the list compared to previous years. Rapper Cardi B leads with 7 nominations followed by Drake who had 5. CHECK FULL LIST HERE
