Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah popularly known as Shatta Wale has presented items worth over 150,000 to farmers at Mpatuam as part of farmers day celebration.

The musician made the presentation to the District Chief Executive of the Amansie West District Assembly, Hon. Nii Larteh Ollenu as prize package for all winning farmers in the district.

Speaking at the farmers day celebration, Shatta Wale disclosed farming is a great venture when treated well it would create employment for the youth.


“Farming is important because it provides food and jobs for the population. As a country, I think it is time we embrace industrial farming which provides a large amount of food at a relatively low cost and hugely contributes to the industrial development of the country. More jobs will be created for the youth and more people which will help solve the unemployment situation in the county”, he said

Shatta Wale as part of the farmers day celebration not only did he presented items to the people of Mpatoam but also would mount stage in the evening to entertain his fans tonight.
