The Black Entertainment Television (BET) nomination brouhaha still continues and Shatta Wale has suggested Ghanaians artistes need massive support from their own people before the international community will recognise them.
He controversially said some board members of the BET Awards do not know who Stonebwoy is. He said this whilst contributing to GHOne’s entertainment programme The Pundits.“A board member of the BET Awards said he doesn’t even know who Stonebwoy is,”
“My point is, I feel am working so hard and if my country had supported me, we would have gotten better recognition at the international level,” he added.
