Well it’s not our intention to stoke the age-long rivalry which exist between two of Ghana’s finest Dancehall acts, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

The pair’s situation can be likened to Messi and Ronaldo, whose awe-inspiring abilities continue to be compared and contrasted, whilst dividing opinions.

So obviously it’s inevitable that we are coming up with this analysis following their London concerts; well, one couldn’t go on as planned which you’ll get to know why as your continue reading.

Over the weekend, Shatta Wale shut down the Indigo 02 arena in London during his London version of the ‘Reign’ concert.

The turn-out was so massive (an estimated 3,000 fans filled the venue) that we gathered that scores of  were ‘music lovers got stranded’ outside wanting to forcibly enter the auditorium to be entertained by their King.

On the flip-side, Stonebwoy’s London show which was slated for Nov. 28 at the 02 Academy Islington was cancelled because the expected 800 revelers who were expected to purchase the ticket failed to do so.

The ticket started selling in September but sales were so poor that the organizers cancelled the show, awaiting a new date to be fixed or suspended indefinitely.

Evidently, Shatta Wale stands tall in this ‘head-to-head’ comparison which further reinforces that there’s no Ghanaian act who can pull the crowd like he does.

This is an undisputed fact; if you don’t agree, argue with yourself… LOL!
