The minister of finance, Ken Ofori Attah read the much anticipated budget for the 2019 financial year in Parliament and as expected, the matter is still being dissected along political and prejudicial lines.

One highlight of his presentation was when he said his government intends to  increase domestic revenue, raise efficiency in the use of public resources, and protect the public purse from leakages.

However, there has not been any clear cut structure for the creative industry except that there’s a proposed ultra modern theater which would be built probably next year.

This has not gone down with the stakeholders and players of the creative industry, including Shatta Wale.

Taking to his twitter platform to express his opinion about the budget, the Zylofon signed artiste said until they formulate good structure for the industry, the government will never take them serious.
