Former fiancee of Ghanaian Dancehall King Shatta Wale, Diamond Michelle Gbagonah, popularly known as Shatta Michy, has stated that she is not sure if her ex-boyfriend’s proposal on stage during the ‘Reign’ concert and the album release at the Fantasy Dome on October 13, 2018 was real or for show business.
Speaking on United showbiz on UTV, she explained that she once told Shatta Wale that at least he could have told him that she wanted to propose to him for show business purposes so that she could have prepared well for the occasion to which Shatta Wale replied that she was speaking in serious with the proposal.

“The doubts came from how bad the relationship was after the proposal, and then after she completely fired up, other people got information that they threw out,” Shatta Michy said.
At the “Reign” concert and the release of the “Reign” album, the couple surprised their fans.
That night, Shatta Wale joined Shatta Michy on stage in the middle of her performance and asked her to marry him.
Michy, visibly shocked, hugged Shatta Wale, who then passionately kissed her as hers her three-year-old son Majesty wandered the stage.
“I want people to accept me for me, not label me with that brand even though I have been part of history. I just want to be known by myself, it’s like owning my brand. I have been part of history, building the empire, “she said at that moment on stage.
That proposal and reconciliation attempt followed news of a breakup after Shatta Wale allegedly assaulted Michy.
