Eddie Murphy has opened up on his work experience with the South African beauty, Nomzamo Mbatha.
The actor who plays the role of King Akeem of Zamunda in the sequel says conversing with her made him realize how poor his African accent is.
“She’s a wonderful actress. Beautiful. We had a great time working together. She made me realise how shitty my African accent is; I thought it was good but she came with a real one and I realised that mine is horrible.”
The movie is premiered on 5th of March, 2021, and there’s been reviews flying on social media.
Nomzamo is excited she bagged the role, as he plays Miremebe. “Mirembe means “peace” and that’s all I’m wishing for myself,” she captioned the most recent post on Instagram.
