Nigerian actress Eniola Badmus has come under intense fire on social media after launching a campaign for politician and presidential hopeful, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the flagbearer of the National All Progressive Congress.
A few weeks ago, Tinubu declared his intention to run for the president’s office. Still, many Nigerian youths have vowed to vote against him, owing to the notion that he had a hand in the massacre that erupted at Lekki Toll Gate in October 2020 that left several EndSARS protesters perished.
However, Eniola Badmus, a few hours ago, took to his Snapchat to share one of the campaign posters of Tinubu, which read ‘The ABAT Movement’.
Nigerians did not receive the post by Eniola well and they have poured their wrath on her, stating she was one of those celebrities whose only concerns is about their stomach to the detriment of the masses.
Eniola Badmus has been a long time supporter of the current All Progressive Congress party, and she’s close to the Tinubu’s family.
The question is would Eniola Badmus jeorpadize her relationship with the Bola Tinubu’s family by not supporting his presidential ambition or join other Nigerians to vote against him?
