Kaya FM presenter Sizwe Dhlomo has asked South Africans to still remember rapper AKA in their prayers following the burial of Anele ‘Nelli’ Tembe.
South Africa as a whole were thrown in the state of mourning following news of Anele ‘Nelli’ Tembe’s tragic passing.
Nelli reportedly died after allegedly jumping out of a building on Sunday morning, 11 April.
The funeral was streamed on YouTube on Friday and his fans showed their support for AKA online.
Taking to Twitter earlier this week, Sizwe said: “Guys… just a reminder to please continue to keep Kiernan & the Tembe family in your prayers.”
Her sister Mbali had this to say: “Today we went to wash her and l tried to put makeup on her because she loved herself. She was a lady like that but what l saw was very painful.”
Zama who had the task to get Nellie from Cape Town to Durban is still reeling in shock. “Her untimely passing will have a long lasting impact on me and the rest of the family. I think all of us should take a page out of her book of life as she lived a full life filled with love, gentleness and honesty.”
