So far, Sokoto has been labeled as Coronavirus free and this comes after the last five patients were discharged.
The development was revealed by the Sokoto Government via the Ministry of Health’s official Twitter handle.
It reads;
“COVID19 update in Sokoto.
All the remaining 5 active cases patients were today discharged to reunite with the society.
Sokoto is now COVID19 active case free.
Residents are advised to adhere seriously to preventive measures.”
This comes after 348 new cases of Coronavirus was recorded in Nigeria.
