Report gathered by ghgossip.com indicates that about 25 members of the secessionist group popularly known as Western Togoland have been arrested by the Ghana Armed Force and the Ghana Police Service at Abortia near Joapong where they blocked the road.
According to report there is heavy military and police presence currently at the area in attempt to install calmness.

Most passengers travelling to areas in the Volta Region including Tefle, Tsopoli and Juapong were left stranded as a result of the action by the secessionist group.
The Ghana Police had earlier on cautioned persons traveling to the Volta Region to be extra careful due to the heavy vehicle traffic.
