Renowned Nigerian producer, songwriter, and singer, Micheal Collins Ajereh who is popularly known as Don Jazzy has taken to social media to lambast some men over their shallow way of treating their wives.
He made this post on his verified social media handle on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
According to him, some men disrespect their wives and treat them anyhow just because of the customs and traditions that involve paying for a woman’s bride price.
He indicated his displeasure about the situation and he suggested there is the need to educate men that the paying of a woman’s dowry shouldn’t mean they should disrespect to their wives.
The post he made reads;
“So apparently some of the men that disrespect and treat their wives like shit do so becos they paid some useless bride price. Kai how do we educate the multitude with this shallow mindset?”
