Popular Music Video Director, Rexford Kyei Sarkodie, popularly known as Rex has said that some musicians in Ghana quote expensive prices for their music video shootings only for hype.

According to him, most musicians are capable of spending the amounts they quote for their music video but as to whether they are willing to do so, he cannot tell.
Speaking in an interview with Doreen Avio, the celebrated music video director revealed that his main focus is the end product of his works and not necessarily the money involved.
When asked if he favors some musicians when charging them for work, Rex stated; “I’m always focused on the end product of the music video, period. it doesn’t matter if you are my friend, what has to be put in there has to be put in there”.
He also said that the money he is being paid for his works doesn’t go to him alone because he has a team he has to pay to get other tasks done on his behalf.
Rex also revealed that he has never had an issue with any musician in his line of duty.
Rex has been the brain behind most of the dope music videos we watch on social media. He has worked with some of the topmost musicians in the industry and I must say his works speak good of him.
