South African Comedian and Political Commentator, Trevor Noah has been selected as the host of the 2021 Grammy Awards.

This was revealed by The Recording Academy and CBS that host of Comedy Central’s Emmy Award-winning “Daily Show,” will host the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.
However, the nominations for the award were announced on Grammy.com.
After the announcement, Trevor Noah said; “Even though I am extremely disappointed that the Grammys have refused to have me sing or be nominated for the best pop album, I am thrilled to be hosting this auspicious event.”
“I think as a one-time Grammy nominee, I am the best person to provide a shoulder to all the amazing artists who do not win on the night because I too know the pain of not winning the award! (This is a metaphorical shoulder, I’m not trying to catch Corona.) See you at the 63rd Grammys!”
Trevor Noah is a South African comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, and television host. He is the host of The Daily Show, an American satirical news program on Comedy Central. Born in Johannesburg, Noah began his career as a comedian, television host, and actor in South Africa in 2002.
