In a sad report, four children have been reported dead after a speeding driver crashed them at Egya No. 2, a community along the Cape-Coast-Accra Highway.
According to eyewitnesses, one other child is in a critical condition at the Saltpond Hospital.
Per what we gathered, these children were on their way home from school on when the accident occurred as they crossed the road.
However, the driver of the Hyundai 4×4 vehicle has been arrested and is currently in the Saltpond Police custody.
After the incident, residents of the area are incensed and as a result of their anger, they blocked the Anomabo section of the Highway in protest of the killings.
