A piece of unfortunate information available to ghgossip.com has it that twenty (20) people have been seriously injured in an accident at Tonisco junction, Potsin, on the Kasoa-Cape Coast Highway.

After a sprinter bus lost its balance, over ten passengers are in serious condition and eleven others have incurred varying degrees of injury.
The back tire of the sprinter Benz bus with registration number GN 3680-14 ruptured, causing the bus to deviate off its lane and tumble twice before crashing in nearby bushes, according to information.
Pastor Isaac Afful, one of the car’s occupants, was fortunate to have escaped with just minor injuries.
He informed Seth Kofi Adjei of Adom News that the accident was caused by a mechanical failure, and he praised the driver for maintaining control of the vehicle despite the tragedy.
Pastor Afful went on to say that the motorist made the wisest option by driving into the bushes rather than colliding with a defective trailer stopped in the center of the road.
The Ghana Ambulance Service and the police came on the site and treated the victims with first aid before transport the ones who were badly injured to the Winneba Hospital for medical attention.
Meanwhile, no death has been recorded yet.
