Famous American actor, comedian, author, and TV host Steve Harvey has revealed his intention to bring a lot of African Americans to Ghana to have a feel of the humiliating process their ancestors were taking though before they were shipped to the white man’s land.

As a matter of fact, Steve said he’s personally funding the trip to see more of his friends in Ghana, having had the opportunity to gather first hand information, albeit depressing about the history of the slave trade when he came to Ghana few months ago and went to the Cape Coast castle.

Harvey is in the country again to promote his TV show, Family Feud and he granted an interview to Giovanni Caleb on 3FM.

He revealed that his experience at the Cape Coast castle has influenced his decision to bring his friends to Ghana which he’s funding himself.

“I’m actually going to form a trip to bring a lot of African-Americans to three cities but I want them to see Ghana first because they have to see the slave castle, culture of the city and how vibrant it is,” Steve Harvey said on radio.
