We predicted that the bubble of excitement of the Reign concert and its aftermath will take a long time before it burst and that’s exactly what we are seeing.
This is whole thing started following an allegation made by ace Dancehall act Samini that he and Stonebwoy came to the Fantasy Dome, the venue for the launch of Shatta Wale’s much publicized Reign album launch to surprise him with a performance.
But as things turned out, their kind gesture was flatly turned down by Shatta Wale according to media report and this has not gone down well with Stonebwoy and his manager Blakk Cedi.
Although Shatta Wale subsequently took to social media to apologize profusely to Samini and Stonebwoy and said he had no idea that the pair were there to support him, Blakk Cedi and Stonebwoy have insisted that Shatta Wale himself issued an order to stop their entrance.
During an interview session on Hitz 103.9 FM on the same topic, management of Stonebwoy repeated the same thing, saying the Gringo
Bulldog was consequently called over the phone to add more clarification to the issue.
The experienced artiste manager said that it is a wrong statement from the camp of Bhim Nation as he never communicated to them any negative statement from Shatta Wale.
Bulldog further added it was even wrong for them to just pop out of nowhere and say they are coming to perform because the structure of the program won’t permit them.
But despite all the clarifying explanation from Bulldog, Blakk Cedi still insist that Stonebwoy and his management received harsh words from Shatta Wale through him and thus they dragged the issue back and forth until sanity prevailed later.
