Rapper and singer, Nhyiraba Kojo has waded into Stonebwoy’s infamous ’40 years comment’ which continue to attract responses from some artists and stakeholders in the music industry.

Speaking to Sammy Flex in an interview, Nhyiraba said Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and other top musicians should know that they will not reign forever and this is a basic fact no one can dispute.

“I heard Stonebwoy saying it will take forty years for the industry to have their kind…he is being pompous. Some time ago, I think that was what Nana Ampadu, Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi others thought when they were in their prime. But now they are not vibrant like before. I am telling you…whether they like it or not.

“Though Kojo Antwi has been releasing songs recently, it is not like we use to know him, I am not saying Kojo Antwi is weak, in music you cannot reign forever. Music is like football, no matter what you would do, your vibrancy won’t be there as always so you have to prepare towards the future,” he stated.

Stonebwoy landed himself in trouble when blurted out that it will take Ghana 40 years to get artists who can replicate what he , Shatta Wale and Sarkodie have achieved while performing at the 2019 MTN 4Syte Music Video Awards.

He said: “Big up to SM, Shatta Wale my brother and Sarkodie my brother. It will take another 40 years to find me, Sarkodie and Shatta in this industry. We are national assets if you like don’t protect if you like protect.”
